SUSA players continue to advance 3/1/12 - Irvine, CA - The annual SUSAfoundation PRO COMBINE continues to produce players with 7 players being selected in the MLS Super and/or Supplement draft, with 5 of those 7 making opening day rosters. 5 additional CCFC players advanced into additional pro teams within the NASL, USLpro, Europe and Australia. Whilst 2 players former SUSA super20 and M23 player Cesar Diaz signing with SJ Earthquakes and Richard Menjivar competing and playing with El Salvador in the 2012 Concacaf Olympic tournament (with 0-0 draw v. canada / victory over cuba / 3-3 draw with the
US / before only just coming up short AET lose to honduras). Overall another successful year and we see these players on to their new professional teams and wish them well.

8/15/11 - Irvine, CA - With three years of continued success promoting pathways for players SUSA has seen its players appear for their national teams, 6 players within the last two receiving full professional contracts and placement of 18 others through its annual pro combine program finding a home in professional soccer worldwide here in North America and also abroad. Today SUSA will look to help promote players who may need a stepping stone and will help place players into Canadian Soccer League 1st division side Capital City FC, the club in its inaugural season sits in the top 3 and is a sure thing for the postseason and a cup run. Season KICKS OFF with Road WIN...
5/28/11 - Irvine, CA with the start of a 3rd season within the USL and on the back of 2 successful seasons and a berth to the 2010 North American Finals and 5 additional players placed in 2010 in professional sides within Europe, MLS and other 1st division leagues abroad.The 2011 version of SUSA Everton is the most diverse yet with a full roster from 16 different college/universities and affiliations this season looks to be another success. SUSA Everton travelled Sunday night to Seahorses at Biola University in Orange County and come away with a 3-1 road victory. With a successful KICK OFF match the Home Opener will take place this SAT 6/4/11 - 6pm Kickoff at a new venue in Chino with a partnership signed with the city's facilities this offseason. 5/1/11 - Irvine, CA The third season of SUSA Everton's run within the USL sub20 division will take place the end of May and go through
July. With possibly the most diverse roster yet with 24 players 16 different universities and affiliations and with 11 players who
have previous USL experience, SUSA Everton looks to build on its past success of back to back top2 finishes and boasting the most goals in 2010 and best overall goal differential. 2011 brings new teams, new challenges and the opportunity to guide players through their playing careers on their summer break before returning back to university teams. Also an adjustment in venue for 2011 with an agreement with the city of chino hills the use of chino hills stadium - located next to chino hills hs off of the 73 freeway between the 60 and 91 freeway, click on our MAPS and program directions link for location. 2010 Ends with a Bang - and the ANNUAL Players Combine
12/18/10 - Irvine, CA This week concludes a terrific 2010 for SUSA Everton. With the completion of its second USL season and an invitation as one of the top 12sides in North America to the Super Cup in Chicago after finishing in 2nd place in the conferance only one point off of the title but with the best overall goal differential and the highest GPG total in the country it was a terrific year for the team. Also with the addition of the M23 player development program saw them highlight their summer program with a trip to San Jose to play the Earthquakes during the World Cup break, a tremendous experience for a group of players who aspire to be professionals, as not to many college or amateur players have the opportunity in their careeers to line up vs. the top league in their country and during a year that was San Jose's first playoff berth since re-entering the league in 08' - 2010 also brought more excitement with the development program continuing to show progress as the number of full professionals to come out of the SUSA system growing to 11 players by years end - with that number expected to grow in the JAN transfer window and through the MLS draft 2011 and team selection for USLpro and/or NASL sides. Overall for the 2nd consecitive year SUSA Everton continues to focus on a player centered approach allowing the best players to be selected - competing and guided on how to become a professional as well as showcasing those players so those who are ready to make that step into professional soccer/football have that opportunity - 2011 will kick off right after the new year with player trials to take place in FEB for 2011 ROSTER(S) spots > if you are interested please EMAIL US for complete details, Happy Christmas - Safe New Year !!!

8/3/10 - Irvine, CA The New England Revolution announced today that Roberto "Betu" Linck, has officially cleard all MLS paperwork and is cleared for tonights SuperLiga match v. Puebla in the semi-finals. Roberto who traveled to San Jose earlier in the summer with SUSA Everton is a product of the system. SUSA Everton Head Coach-Shaun Harris had identified and recruited Roberto 4+ years ago to Irvine Valley College, where he played for the Lazers for two seasons. These opportunities opened greater doors and this summer it provided the outlet neccessary for Roberto to receive his first MLS contract at 21yo, through his past two coaches at the college and amateur levels, Martin McGrogan and Shaun Harris - "Everyone at SUSA Everton continues to support Roberto and all of the players who have received contracts through the SUSA Everton development system while they remain here in the US or abroad - we are glad to be able to provide an opportunity in which these players can reach their ultimate goal of playing professional football for a living.
SUSA Everton U23s finish the season with back to back wins and continued success into the Off Season...
7/26/10 - Riverside, CA > SUSA Everton finishes with back to back wins over Hollywood Utd (4-1 on 7/21) and LA Azul (5-0 on 7/26) with a final record of 4-4-2 versus all competition. The 2010 SUSA Everon U23 program was an overall success by providing highly competitive matches, ongoing training and exposure to USL and MLS professional teams. SUSA Everton will announce and confirm one professional signing later this week. The announcement will be officially made by MLS, its league offices and through the team of record - media relations department. SUSA Everton hopes the trend which started in 2009 continues. The program in 09' saw 5players (3-MLS/1-USL pro and 1-Europe) all gain professional contracts through the system and with one on the horizon for 2010, SUSA Everton hopes to either equal or add to that success upon completion of the 2010 calendar year.
SUSA Everton Super20's finish 2nd place in the PSC of the USL
7/11/10 - Riverside, CA > The 2010 USL (PSC) season ended today with a victory over the Lancaster Rattlers. The win puts SUSA Everton only 1point behind LAG but SUSA Everton holds the top goal differential within the conferance. The win also secured an invitation to the 2010 Super 20 Cup in Rockford, IL. SUSA Everton finishes the season with a record of 6-2-2 (20points) and a positive goal differential of +28 with (38GF and only 10GA) the most goals for within the conferance and only the second fewest agaisnt. SUSA Everton players now will either report to the U23 team for the final three weeks of exhibition play or back to their respective college/universities pre-season camps and with a break for the next couple of weeks after a long but quick successful summer of football SUSA Everton found more sucess in only its second season within the USL framework.
SUSA Everton travel to San Jose and meet up with a pair of Professional Teams
6/18/10 - San Jose, CA > a combined group of super20 and u23 players made the 4 day trip to N.California to match up with a pair of Bay Area / Valley professional sides including Major League Soccer side SJ Earthquakes. The players and staff played NPSL (western conferance) leaders REAL San Jose on the Tuesday before an off day and training, then having a unique opportunity to matchup with the SJ Earthquakes during the designated MLS break for the World Cup. Thursday's match took place at the newly constructed SJ Earthquakes Amway-Nutrilife training center. Overall a tremendous experience for the SUSA Everton players. The super20 team returns to action on 6/26 at UCR at 5pm v. CD CHIVAS USA and the u23's on 7/1/10 v. Lancaster Rattlers of the PDL (usl).
SUSA Everton win their third in a row / U23's also win
6/10/10 - Riverside, CA > U23 teams played this past week and both saw 3-0 victories. The u23 team faced SD Boca of the NPSL on Saturday 5/29 and won 3-0. The super20s faced seahorses for the second time in a period of two weeks and with a (3-1) victory at Biola University on 5/15, Sunday proved to be no different with a (3-0) win. SUSA Everton super20s remain undefeated and top of the USL / PSC, and will play next at the LA Galaxy on Friday 6/11 at 8pm at the Home Depot center while the u23s will head down to San Diego to complete their home and away fixtures with SD Boca on 6/12 at Helix HS at 5pm.
SUSA Everton win 2nd on the road at CD Chivas USA
5/21/10 - Bell Gardens, CA > Only 2games into the 2010 USL campaign and the SUSA Everton super20s are 2-0 with 6points and top of the (PSC) table. Tonight was SUSA Everton's second straight road victory as they remain perfect on the season. Along with the win, it was how it took place on the road with a good crowd present, against the reining 09' USL national runner-ups. A good victory for the organization as a whole with exciting times ahead.

5/15/10 - OC, CA > The 2010 USL super20 season opened at Seahorses v. SUSA Everton at Biola University. After 90m the style of play and the willingness to attack showed as SUSA Everton took a 2-0 lead by the break. With adjustments in the 2nd half the season opening victory played through at full time with a 3-1 victory to open their second season as part of USL super20 makeup with 3 points and top of the table with 09' national finalist CD Chivas USA who defeated the Lancaster Rattlers also on Saturday.

4/1/10 - As the 2010 season is right around the corner, trials are complete and rosters are finalized. A few tweeks here and their but SUSA Everton will be off and running before we all know it. The 2010 year brings new excitement with Europe rapping up, MLS in full swing and this summer's 2010 World Cup upon us ; the INLAND EMPIRE has its own team to call home, SUSA Everton.

SUSA Everton - Annouces Expansion in 2010
1/1/10 - Coming off a successful season 2009, SUSA-Everton will expand with a u23 team in 2010, this will be strictly a program for college players bound for the ranks of professional soccer domestically or internationally. This program will begin in May 2010 and will run the length of the mid-summer being completed by mid-july allowing players to enter college training camps fit and healthy come the first weeks of August. This program looks to selectivly pick players in order to provide them an experince closest to a professional league in order to bridge the gap between college and professional soccer. The u23 team will compete agaisnt other USL 1-2-3 franchises, USSF national teams and MLS franchises. (2009) SUSA Everton - Finish Top3 in USL Super 20's
8/1/09 - WIth two wins for SUSA Everton to finish the season vs. LA Galaxy at the Home Depot Center 2-1 and vs. Poway in San DIego 2-0, SUSA Everton finish behind USL National Finalist Chivas USA and Poway. The four point gap at the top of the table proved to be one of the closest top four finalist in the country and included two MLS teams Chivas winning the division with the LA Galaxy sandwiched between Poway and first year franchise SUSA - Everton. All four teams will return in 2010 and the division may prove to remain to be the toughest in the country with USL adding key teams that should strengthen the group.

6/1/09 - SUSA traveled to Bakersfield Brigade on the weekend and bounced back after their opening day loss on the road to earn three points for their efforts after defeating the Brigade 4-1 at Bakersfield Christian High School. Leading 1-0 at halftime and controlling a majority of the possession, the first half provided the momentum to spark three straight SUSA goals to see them go 4-0 ahead inside of 75 minutes. The only slip-up was a mis-clearance in the 87th minute that led to a Brigade goal. On the day it put SUSA third in the table with a game in hand. SUSA's next match will be their home opener on Saturday 6/6/09 at University of California Riverside versus the visiting Lancaster Rattlers.

5/17/09 - After completing two weeks of mini camps preparing for the conference opener next Wednesday May 20th at OC Seahorses, the SUSA players had the opportunity to work with visiting Everton Academy Coach Paul Harris. The opportunity arranged as part of the partnership with the club in conjunction with the start of the upcoming USL season. Shaun Harris (SUSA Director and Head Coach) who oversaw the sessions which implemented the Everton Way philosophies into the weeks activities and were tailored to fit preparation for next weeks match. "The opportunity for American college players playing in a USL summer pro team to work with an academy coach of a Premier League side was tremendous for all the players involved and we hope the experience benefits them throughout the upcoming season and in the long term as they continue to develop as players," said Shaun Harris.
