We are a high school STEAM interest group aiming to help fight Covid-19 through learning, design, and 3D printing of innovative medical supplies for donation to those in urgent needs against Covid-19.
Graduate students and professors serve as mentors to introduce and dive deeper into CAD (Computer Aided Design). Meetings are held twice a week and homework is assigned.
Students work on designing a new medical supply with the help of other High School students and professionals from the STEAM fields. We donate our modified designs to further help the community and to gain feedback on them.
Students 3D print face shields and construct them. Students also coordinate with local hospitals and organizations to donate them.
